작가는 사진의 물성과 시간성을 탐구하며, 사라진 흔적과 기억을 주제로 작업을 이어왔습니다. 제목 『Interlude』는 막과 막을 잇는 간주곡을 뜻하며, 얼마 전 세상을 떠난 아버지 마크 제프를 추모하는 책입니다. 작가는 아버지가 남긴 필름을 직접 인화하고, 자신의 사진과 함께 엮어 두 사람의 시선을 교차시킵니다. 수제작된 각각의 책에는 아버지의 필름을 작가가 직접 인화한 암실 프린트가 한 장씩 들어있습니다. 『Interlude』는 2025 파리포토 현장에서 처음 선보이며, 11월 15일 토요일 오후 3시에 작가의 북사이닝이 있습니다. 더보기 > |

The artist has long explored the materiality and temporality of photography, working with themes of vanished traces and memory. Her book Interlude, meaning a passage of music between acts, serves as a tribute to her father. Minahan prints her father’s film and weaves it together with her own images, creating a dialogue between their perspectives. Each hand-bound copy includes a unique darkroom print made by the artist from her father's film. “Interlude” debuts at Paris Photo 2025, with a book signing on Saturday, November 15 at 3 PM. A solo exhibition by artist Sangyon Joo, “LIGHT OF MIND,” will be held at Galerie Imaginaires d’Architecture, located in Paris’s Marais district. The gallery explores the intersections of architecture, art and memory. Photographs included in the second edition of “Other Ways of Being,” published this year, will be exhibited alongside the book.
