린다 코너 사진전 <REFLECTION>

현재 닻미술관에서는 미국 서부의 대표적인 사진가이자 교육자로서 50년 넘게 사진작업을 몰두하고 있는 린다 코너의 사진전을 개최하고 있습니다. 린다 코너는 50여 년간 8×10인치 대형카메라를 들고 인디아, 멕시코, 태국, 아일랜드, 페루, 네팔, 이집트 등 인류의 원형적 삶과 과거의 유적이 남아있는 장소들을 순례하며 작업해왔습니다. 익숙한 곳을 떠나 이국의 영적인 장소를 탐험하고, 현재의 시간을 거슬러 과거의 삶과 연결된 지점을 찾아갑니다. 전시는 11월 22일까지 계속 됩니다. 더 보기 >

Currently, Datz Museum of Art has hosted the exhibition of Linda Connor, a leading photographer from the West Coast of the United States. During the past 50 years, Linda Connor has made numerous pilgrimages to countries harboring traces of primordial human life and relics of the past, such as India, Mexico, Thailand, Ireland, Peru, Nepal and Egypt, working with her 8×10 large-format camera. She has left places familiar to her and gone exploring in the spiritual places of remote lands, moving back in time in search of connecting points between the present and lives of the past. 그녀와 나의 포물선 Her and My Parabola 민경 Min Kyung

「그녀와 나의 포물선」은 크고 작은 이주를 겪으며 성장하는 두 여성의 이야기를 소설 형식을 빌린 16편의 글과 서울 근교 도시에서 채집한 이미지로 담았습니다. 가장 개인적인 이야기에서 평범한 삶의 단면을 찾고자 한 이 책에서는 이야기를 나누듯 교차 편집된 두 여성의 역사가 메아리처럼 반복, 파생되어 각자만의 아름다운 포물선을 그리고 있습니다. 더 보기 >

‘Her and My Parabola’ contains 16 writings about two women growing up spiritually through several migrations and the images of places where they pass through in Korean society. This book aims to find the moments of human life in the most ordinary and personal stories; two women’s stories are drawn and followed like beautiful parabolas. read more >

TLC는 ‘Think Like Cloud’의 약자로 예술가들의 보이지 않는 창작 과정을 보여주는 다크룸의 프로세스북입니다. TLC 1호 ‘상상의 기술’은 동명의 다크룸 전시 주제를 따라 예술가들의 ‘상상의 과정'을 담는 것을 목표로, 각각 다른 매체를 다루는 네명의 작가들의 작업 과정을 엿볼 수 있게 하였습니다. 더 보기 >

TLC, ‘Think Like Cloud’ is a D’Ark Room magazine that shows the invisible process for creating artworks. The first issue of TLC, ‘Art of Imagination’, follows the theme of the exhibition at D’Ark Room and aims to capture and imagine the working process of four artists dealing with different media. read more >
