풍경, 저 너머 Beyond Landscape

오프닝 리셉션 Opening Reception: 4.8(Sat) 2pm

주명덕 사진전 《풍경, 저 너머》가 4월 8일에 오픈합니다. 닻미술관에서 열리는 주명덕 작가의 두 번째 사진전으로 이번 전시에서는 작가의 후반기 작업인 '잃어버린 풍경', '장미', '사진 속의 추상' 세 가지 시리즈를 엮어 보여줍니다. 이번 오프닝에는 『내 어머니의 땅』 출판 기념 사인회가 함께 진행됩니다.

“Beyond Landscape” is Joo, Myung Duck’s solo exhibition at the Datz Museum of Art will open on April 8th. Showcasing his later works which demonstrate the expansion of photography as an art form from its documentary roots, the exhibition brings together three different series: “Lost Landscapes,” “Rose,” and “The Abstract in Photography.”At the opening, “My Motherland” book signing event will be held for celebrating publication.

구름의 노래 Songs of the Sky

4.8(Sat) – 6.18(Sun) ㅣFRAME

2023년 프레임 FRAME의 첫 번째 전시 《구름의 노래》가 본 전시와 함께 4월 8일에 오픈합니다. ‘대지와 공기’를 주제로 기획된 이번 전시에는 12명의 작가가 찍은 30여점의 각기 다른 하늘이 담겨 있습니다.

The first FRAME exhibition on this year, “Songs of the Sky” will open on April 8th. Under the theme of 'Land and Air', we will present about 30 different skies taken by 12 artists.

내 어머니의 땅 My Motherland

한국 현대사진의 아버지, 주명덕 작가의 사진집 『내 어머니의 땅』에는 1960년대 후반부터 2000년대 초반까지 사진가로서 평생을 지켜본 한국의 모습이 담겨있습니다. 4월 8일 토요일, 닻미술관에서 열리는 주명덕 작가의 전시 《풍경, 저 너머》 오프닝에서 신간을 만나보실 수 있습니다.

“My Motherland”, a new book by Joo, Myung Duck, the father of modern Korean photography, will be released on April 8th. This book is a collection of photographs depicting Korea from the late 1960s to the early 2000s. You can meet “My Motherland” on upcoming exhibition opening of “Beyond Landscape” at Datz Museum of Art on April 8th(Sat).

“ANOTHER YEAR” by Yunsoo Kim is officially released. This book comes from an Artist book containing pressed flowers and notes collected by following the seasons of another year. The memories of cards sent from her father who loved flowers, and the artist’s care for the plants from childhood are recollected and conveyed in this book. read more>
