11월, 닻프레스가 세계 최대 규모의 사진 예술 페어인 파리 포토에 유일한 한국 출판사로서 참여합니다. 올해 26회를 맞이하는 파리 포토는 세계 각국의 사진 전문 갤러리와 출판사들이 모이고, 매년 약 6만 명의 관중이 찾는 사진계 소통의 장이자 사진 예술계의 흐름을 한 눈에 볼 수 있는 권위 있는 페어입니다. 닻프레스는 올해 신간과 함께 여러 국내외 작가의 작업을 전세계 대중에게 선보입니다. 그뿐만 아니라 11월 신간인 크리스 맥카우의 『Marking Time』의 북 사이닝 이벤트가 함께 진행될 예정이오니 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.

Datz Press is participating in Paris Photo, the world’s largest photo art fair. Paris Photo is a prestigious annual event in the world of photography held for the past 26 years in Grand Palais, a historic structure located in the city center of Paris. This fair, which gathers about 60,000 people every year, is the place for cultural exchange among galleries and publishers specializing in photography. Datz Press will take part in Paris Photo as the only Korean photographic art book publisher. We plan to introduce our new books and photographer's works to center of the art world. Furthermore, we have a book signing event scheduled for Chris McCaw's upcoming new book “Marking Time.”

크리스 맥카우의 『Marking Time』이 출간되었습니다. 그는 대형 카메라를 직접 개조하여 필름을 넣는 자리에 빈티지 인화지를 넣고, 렌즈를 통해 들어온 태양 빛이 인화지를 태우는 방식으로 작업하고 있습니다. 지난 20여 년간의 작업을 담은 이번 신간은, 오래된 인화지에 태양이 닿아 그려낸 경이로운 풍경을 선보입니다. 더보기> |

Chris McCaw's book “Marking Time” is now published. The artist works with a manually modified large format camera, loading vintage photo paper in place of film, and letting the sun come through the lens to physically burn the paper. This new book, encompassing Chris McCaw's work over the past two decades, showcases the awe-inspiring landscapes created as the sun interacts with aged photographic paper. Read more> |

The artist, who witnessed the process of their parents leaving this world, creates a sensory and spiritual connection to life and death at the threshold of existence.
